Joining Forces to Prevent Breast Cancer: Giant Digital Partners with Breast Cancer UK

  • Giant News

We're thrilled to share that Giant Digital has been chosen to partner with Breast Cancer UK on creating their new website - a collaboration that will amplify their vital mission to prevent breast cancer and change lives.

When Prevention Meets Innovation

Breast Cancer UK is doing something remarkable in the charity world. While others focus on treatment and support after diagnosis, they're working to stop breast cancer before it starts. Research reveals that at least 30% of breast cancer cases could be prevented - that's potentially 16,800 lives that could be changed each year in the UK alone.

Through evidence-based education, groundbreaking animal-free research, and bold policy campaigning, they're tackling the root causes of breast cancer. Their current website has been instrumental in reaching over 122,000 people annually, sharing life-changing prevention knowledge, and building a community of informed supporters.

But as their impact grows and digital expectations evolve, they recognised the need for a platform that could truly match their ambition. The challenges they identified were deeply human ones: visitors feeling overwhelmed by information rather than empowered by it, donation journeys that didn't tell compelling stories, and navigation that sometimes buried their most important messaging.

Building a Platform for Change

The new website will transform how people discover, understand, and act on breast cancer prevention. This isn't just about better technology, it's about creating experiences that make every visitor feel informed, supported, and inspired to take meaningful action.

Whether someone is taking their first prevention quiz, learning about environmental risk factors, writing to their MP about chemical regulation, or making a donation, every interaction will be designed to feel personal, clear, and empowering.

What This Partnership Means

For Breast Cancer UK, this collaboration represents:

  • A chance to tell their prevention story with greater clarity and impact
  • Improved ways to activate their community of supporters
  • A more inclusive, accessible experience that welcomes everyone
  • Enhanced fundraising capabilities to fuel their life-changing research and campaigns

For Giant Digital, this is an opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with a team that shares our passion for technology that makes a real difference
  • Create a platform that doesn't just inform, but genuinely empowers people to reduce their breast cancer risk
  • Push the boundaries of what is possible in accessible, ethical digital design
  • Support a cause that could prevent thousands of breast cancer cases

We’re excited to be partnering with Giant Digital to bring our new website to life. This collaboration marks an important step in our mission to make breast cancer prevention information more accessible, engaging, and impactful. Together, we’re building a digital space that will better help our supporters and amplify our message of preventable breast cancers, education, and hope.

A Shared Vision for the Future

This partnership goes beyond a single project. We're committed to growing together, continuously improving the platform, and championing prevention as the most powerful tool we have against breast cancer.

Breast Cancer UK's vision is ambitious: to reduce breast cancer incidence for future generations. That mission deserves a digital presence that's equally forward-thinking, and we're honored to help bring it to life.
